In a few short weeks, 2021 will be history and we will all turn our attention to the big goals we've set for 2022!

Given the season, Blaine and I want to share a framework with you that will increase the probability of being able to check off those goals by this time next year.

I bet you'd agree that it's easy to get discouraged if we consistently fail to achieve our goals 😞.

In fact, I've met people who eventually decided to wave the white flag 🏳️ and ditch the goal-setting process altogether.

At times, I've been tempted to do the same.

But, that changed when I was introduced to the SMARTER goals framework that we're sharing with you today.

If you're entrepreneurial, completing an ambitious goal is extremely satisfying.

It's proof that you've stretched yourself personally and moved your business in the right direction.

In this episode you will learn about:

  • The #1 reason we don't achieve goals and how to overcome it
  • Writing goals with a clear completion criteria
  • Goals that cause overwhelm and derail your business
  • How many goals are too many goals
  • The difference between a goal vs a project

At the end of the day, setting good goals is a skill that can be developed with consistent effort and access to the right knowledge.

And...I would argue it's one of the most valuable skills you can learn! It's what enables you to create focus around the activities that will create the business and life you want.
